Account Deletion Options

At Setuverse, we respect your right to control your personal data. You have two options to delete your account:

Option 1: Self-Service Deletion

Log in to your Setuverse account and delete your account directly from the Settings page.

Go to Settings

Option 2: Email Request

If you're unable to access your account, send us a deletion request via email.

How to Delete Your Account via Settings

Follow these steps to delete your account directly from your account settings:

  1. Log in to your Setuverse account at app.setuverse.com
  2. Navigate to Settings from the main menu
  3. Scroll down to the Account Management section
  4. Click on the "Delete Account" button
  5. Review the information about what will be deleted
  6. Confirm your decision by entering your password
  7. Click "Permanently Delete My Account" to complete the process

⚠️ Important Notice

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Please ensure you have downloaded any important data before proceeding.

How to Request Deletion via Email

If you cannot access your account or prefer to request deletion via email, please send your request to:

Subject: Account Deletion Request

Please include the following information in your email:

  • Your full name as registered on the account
  • The email address associated with your Setuverse account
  • Your company name (if applicable)
  • Reason for deletion (optional, helps us improve our services)
  • Any additional account identifiers that can help us locate your account

For security purposes, we may need to verify your identity before processing the deletion request. Our support team may contact you to confirm your identity using one of the following methods:

  • Sending a verification code to your registered email
  • Asking security questions related to your account
  • Requesting additional identification documents

What Data Will Be Deleted

When you delete your account, the following information will be permanently removed from our systems:

Personal Information

  • Your name, email address, and contact information
  • Profile information and account settings
  • Login credentials and authentication data
  • Business information and company details

Business Data

  • All invoices, bills, and transaction records
  • Customer and vendor information
  • Inventory and product data
  • Reports and analytics data
  • Custom configurations and preferences

Usage Data

  • Activity logs and usage history
  • Device information and session data
  • Communication history with support

What Data May Be Retained

In certain circumstances, we may need to retain some information to comply with legal obligations or for legitimate business purposes:

  • Financial Records: Transaction records, invoices, and payment information may be retained for tax and accounting purposes as required by law (typically 7 years)
  • Legal Compliance: Information required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements
  • Aggregated Data: Anonymized and aggregated data that cannot be used to identify you personally may be retained for analytics and research purposes
  • Backup Systems: Data in backup systems will be deleted according to our backup retention schedule (typically within 90 days)
  • Public Content: Any content you've made publicly available may remain in cached or archived versions on third-party platforms

ℹ️ Note

All retained data will be stored securely and used only for the specific purposes mentioned above. We will delete this data as soon as it is no longer required.

Deletion Timeframe

We are committed to processing your deletion request promptly:

Self-Service Deletion (via Settings)

Your account and associated data will be immediately deleted. Some data in backup systems may take up to 90 days to be completely removed.

Email Request Deletion

We will process your deletion request within 30 days of receiving your email and verifying your identity.

You will receive a confirmation email once your account has been deleted.

If you do not receive a confirmation within the specified timeframe, please contact us at admin@setuverse.com for an update.

Before You Delete Your Account

Please consider the following before deleting your account:

  • Account deletion is permanent and irreversible
  • You will lose access to all your business data, reports, and analytics
  • Any active subscriptions will be cancelled immediately
  • You will not receive refunds for unused subscription periods
  • Outstanding invoices or payments must be settled before deletion
  • You will need to create a new account if you wish to use Setuverse again in the future

  • Download all important business records and reports
  • Export your customer and vendor data
  • Save copies of invoices and financial documents
  • Cancel any active subscriptions or recurring payments
  • Notify team members if you have a business account
  • Remove any payment methods associated with your account

Alternative Options

If you're not ready to permanently delete your account, consider these alternatives:

Downgrade Your Subscription

Switch to a free or lower-tier plan to reduce costs while keeping your account and data intact.

Pause Your Account

Contact our support team to temporarily pause your account if you plan to return in the future.

Export Your Data

Download your data for safekeeping while keeping your account active for potential future use.
